Problem
The client lacked a search feature on their blog, hurting the UX and causing a major pain point with user intent.
Using their existing design system we built a responsive search that was easily integrated into their subnav.

Solution & outcome
Rather than implementing a simple search bar, we pitched a robust, all-in-one component that featured popular resources, auto-suggestions, as well as both articles and videos. Our thought process was extensive but the end goal was simple: improve user intent through UX, contain the search to a single modal—reducing the number of clicks and minimizing user headache.
While building the design and interactions we accounted for multiple different languages, truncated vs. wrapped text, various states, a continuous load, and accessibility.
While it's too early to measure results, the search was integrated seamlessly into the blog and achieves the goal of improved user intent.
